Sacreage receives "Innovation for Prosperity" Award from Celo Foundation

Sacreage is honored to announce it has completed the Celo Startup Pathway Pre-Accelerator Program and received the Innovation for Prosperity Award from the Celo Foundation. This award highlights Sacreage's commitment to creating unique and alternative methods of accessing capital for environmental philanthropy using web3 technologies, and ultimately securing a future in which all people and ecosystems can prosper.

The Startup Pathway program is a 6-week educational program geared towards helping web3 ventures become market-ready. Guiding teams through entrepreneurial milestones, the program includes topics such as user research, UX, building and integrating with the Celo Ecosystem, and the art of the pitch. Teams also share networking opportunities and live sessions with Celo developers to complete their MVPs (minimum viable product).

Throughout the 6-week sprint, Sacreage completed multiple user interviews with conservation organizations and donors, defined our UX/UI design and workflows, and created a clickable prototype with help from our technical lead.

Sacreage is excited to use this award to support partnership and product procurements necessary for our beta-launch later this year.
